About BTS Broward Tutorial Services was founded in 2004 on a simple premise: all test preparation and tutoring programs are only as good as the teacher. All courses are taught by Michael ElDeiry. Mr. ElDeiry is a former college professor with 15 years experience successfully preparing students for all forms of standardized tests.

Mike ElDeiry has a BS in Biology from Tufts University and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and has completed courses for an MA in Biology from Harvard University. Since founding Broward Tutorial Services in 2004, Mr. ElDeiry has worked with over 1,000 students and has seen score improvements of 10 + points on the ACT and 500+ points on the SAT. Our unique small-group format allows students to receive the personalized attention they need to achieve their potential.  When he’s not busy preparing students for their tests, Mr. ElDeiry enjoys spending time with his nieces and nephews, and competing in Scrabble® Tournaments. Mr. ElDeiry is currently ranked in the top 20 in Florida and in the top 500 in the US. Adam Moss, a college professor and administrator for over 20 years, came to Broward Tutorial Services in 2011 with a passion for education and a wealth of experience teaching English, mathematics, study skills, and test taking.  A co-author of several publications on test taking and study skills, Adam has been an award-winning math and language arts classroom teacher and a private tutor for both children and adults of all abilities and backgrounds for over two decades.  A graduate of the University of Miami and the University of Florida, Adam has held positions as Developmental Coordinator and Director of Academic Support at several colleges and universities.   When not teaching, Adam can be found playing guitar in several bands and rooting for the Heat, Dolphins, and Marlins. José Noboa has over ten years experience tutoring students. As a National Merit winner (perfect SAT score) José understands the ins and outs of all the tests he teaches. Previously he worked as a premier tutor and master trainer (he taught teachers how to teach) for Princeton Review. This experience gives him a unique perspective and allows him to convey information in a fun and engaging way. José claims that the furry friend in the picture scored a 31 on the ACT after working together last year. José studied business administration at the University of Florida. Later he received a degree in history from the University of South Florida, were he also pursued his master’s in Latin American History. José has taught the SAT, ACT, LSAT, GMAT, and GRE, as well as done plenty of academic tutoring in a wide range of subjects. He has also helped students with their college applications and essays. A self-described goofball, José prides himself on having fun while teaching and is passionate about helping his students reach their goals. When not teaching, José enjoys playing tennis and basketball, watching Sherlock Holmes on Netflix, rooting against the University of Miami, and scouring the internet for more additions to his varied and colorful Hawaiian shirt collection. Lisa  Rothenberg Cohen is the Office Manager and Higher Educational Advisor at Broward Tutorial Services. Lisa graduated from the University of Pennsylvania  (Dean’s List/Cum Laude) in ’84 with a Bachelors in Psychology.  She also earned a MBA in Finance from New York University, Stern School of Business in 1990.  Prior to having a family, Lisa worked in Direct Marketing at Citibank and American Express.  In her last position as Assistant VP of Cardmember Communications, Lisa was resposible for establishing and maintaining uniformity for all customer communications in the credit card division at Citibank.  Lisa has three children, two Gators and one at Tulane University.  She has assisted her children to receive full Bright Futures money and over $125, 000 in scholarships. Lisa has worked at Broward Tutorial Services for six years and plays a key role advising parents and students about college test prep.  Lisa is available to meet with parents and students to help them navigate through the college planning process
