After attending the University of Miami on scholarship, Jonathan began as a clinician at Lindamood Bell, the preeminent organization for literacy skill-building in children with autism and dyslexia. Later in 2016, he began teaching AICE Thinking Skills at Fort Lauderdale High, a course which applied SAT/ ACT math and verbal reasoning skills, in addition some calculus concepts not covered by either test. Presently, Jonathan is working with younger kids again at Attucks Middle School, where he teaches accelerated 6th grade English.
While at UM, Jonathan managed the campus’s literary journal Mangrove, which published poetry and art from all across the United States. If he’s not in the classroom, Jonathan is most likely volunteering, writing poetry, or enjoying mankind’s latest literary innovation: Netflix. Having studied chemistry, psychology, and English literature in college, Jonathan brings both a scientific and a creative perspective to tutoring (and life).
