Ben Fechter was born in Connecticut and spent his childhood years growing up overseas in Cyprus, Austria, and Greece. Upon returning to the States, Ben graduated from the University of Connecticut, where he spent a semester abroad in Sweden. After college, Ben spent three years teaching middle-school students in the Bronx, New York as part of the non-profit City Year. He then earned his law degree at the University of Florida Levin College of Law and began practicing as a corporate attorney. Now, Ben serves as a prosecuting attorney for the State of Florida and has been sworn into both the Florida and New York State Bars. He enjoys teaching, coaching, and working with young people whenever possible. He lives in Davie with his wife.
